Toshiba - Grants for Grades 6-12
$5,000 grants for grades 6-12. Funded projects in grades 6-12 provide students with the opportunity to "do science" in new ways that promise to increase their engagement with the subject matter and improve their learning. Grants of $5,000 or less awarded on a rolling basis. Greater than $5,000 are reviewed August 1 and February 1. More information is listed on their website.

Walmart -- Whether it's a small grant to a local school or a large grant to a hunger relief organization working across several states, we engage in opportunities that align with the Walmart Foundation's key areas of focus. Learn more here! 
 
Target Field Trip Grants -- Target stores award Field Trip Grants to K-12 schools nationwide. Each grant is valued up to $700. Grant applications are accepted between noon CST Aug. 1 and noon CST Sept. 30. More information available online. 
 
Community Focus Fund Program --The Community Focus Fund is a community outreach program that provides financial support, employee volunteer hours, and used computers to local educational and nonprofit organizations. Focus areas include:  education, environment, and youth.
 
GreenWorks! -- is the service-learning component of Project Learning Tree (PLT) that provides grants to PLT trained educators for students to implement environmental improvement projects.  Applications available in the Springs.
 
Northrop Grumman Foundation provides funding to national-level STEM programming. Grant requests are accepted and reviewed late in the fall of each year for funding the following year. Proposals should address education-related initiatives that promote the advancement of science, technology, engineering and math on a national level.
 
The AFJROTC Grant -- Aerospace Science Instructors: The AFJROTC Grant was established to promote aerospace education throughout classrooms and units.  Annual deadline is October 10th. More information available online.
 
MathMovesU Grants for Teachers -- Raytheon is pleased to offer the MathMovesU Grants and Scholarships Program to recognize excellence in math teaching.  MathMovesU wants to reward real-life Math Heroes for their dedication to improving math education. Nominate a teacher now! 
 
Google in Education -- for more information on what Google provides for educators including the next Google Academy, check their website.
 
Goldenrod Research Corporation -- The STEM Innovation grants provide 50% of the cost of a comprehensive YouthTouch Technology Integration Program. The schools are responsible for matching the other half. Goldenrod regularly works with those awarded to find the funding if needed.
 
SOFIA Airborne Astronomy Ambassadors NASA’s SOFIA mission is pleased to announce SOFIA Airborne Astronomy Ambassadors (AAA) grants. Information available on both the SETI and the SOFIA websites.
 
STEM Grants -- features news, updates and a free downloadable guide to STEM (Science, Technology Engineering, and Mathematics) educational grants for K-12, educational non-profits, and universities.
 
 
Lemelson-MIT InvenTeams are teams of high school students, teachers, and mentors that receive grants up to $10,000 each to invent technological solutions to real-world problems. InvenTeam grants support a non-competitive, team-based approach to foster inventiveness among high school students. The initiative evolved from the High School Invention Apprenticeship.
